Once you disconnect the battery the cable connection to the module is cut off from the car’s electronic battery unit. This will reset the emergency codes initiated by the module and this will automatically reset the module to function properly. Another way for resetting the module is to use programs which are specifically there to reset these modules. These can be ordered over the internet from online marketplaces or from companies which are specifically engaged in creating these types of programs. Or you can take help of an experienced mechanic, who will do it for you in just a bit of time. Resetting the module is just a task of 5 minutes if you know the proper way to do it. Though, nowadays all modules are manufactured for multiple uses, there are some modules which are manufactured for “one shot” use only, hence you should not get panic if you don’t find a reset option in your control module, possibly there would not be one in it.
